Our found footage film archive

The colectiva maintains a found footage film archive of more than 400 educational, industrial, and ephemeral films on 16mm, as well as numerous 8mm, and Super-8 home movies. The collection includes an extensive selection of 1970s fireman training and fire safety films, San Francisco and California history films, and Super-8 home movies shot by middle-class families in Mexico during the 1970s.

Rental Information

Films are available to curators, programmers, and institutions for a nominal rental fee. All proceeds go toward continued maintenance of the found footage film archive.
